Day1 Xian
Your guide will meet you at 8:30 in your hotel and take you to the Shaanxi Provincial History Museum, one of the best in china with more than 370,000 exhibits of different times and kinds which traces the history of Shaanxi prehistory to the last Qing dynasty. Then go to visit the city wall, the best preserved, largest ancient city defense system that has survived in China. It is also one of the most important landmarks of the Xian City. After lunch in a local restaurant you go to visit the a symbol of Xian city and also a holy place for Buddhists, go to visit the Great Mosque, one of the four grand Islamic mosques in China built 1200 years ago with very unique architecture of combining traditional Muslim and Chinese styles and located in a muslim quarter then visit Bell Tower located in the center of the city and due north of the Drum Tower, which was built in the 9th year of the Zhi Yuan period of the Yuan Dynasty (1272). After tour around 6pm, your guide will take you back to the hotel. |
