Xi'an Xianyang Airport Special Expressway Opened on 8 July

The Special Expressway of Xi'an Xianyang International Airport is opened today. One more expressway is added from Xian downtown to the airport. The expressway has eight driveways. And the toll rate for the use of the expressway is made out. A toll of 10 Yuan is charged for cars.

By now, there are altogether three expressways available from Xian downtown to the airport.

The first expressway is established in 1990: from Xian downtown to Xian-Tongchuan Expressway-the airport. It takes about 40 minutes. The toll for cars is 10 Yuan.
The second expressway is established in 2003. the toll for cars is 5 Yuan.

The newly established expressway is praised as the First Road in Shaanxi Province. It runs from Zhuhong Road inter change in downtown area of Xi'an and finally ends at the East Gate of the airport. The whole distance is 20.58 kilometers.
